My Korean friend, Sue, she came to our house with her friends this afternoon. I cooked some Japanese pan cakes for them. They all said that 's nice. I was so happy. We went to 3 pubs with 2 Korean friends and Rob tonight ... that's our first time to go to pubs... We danced and did have fun

My Malaysian friend, Hilary, ordered the scollaps for us. As we had no idea for cooking scollaps, Rob cooked them for us tonight. He used 2 methods to cook, 1. Cheese & 2. Cream and wine. That's fantastic!

Today was Sunday. Rob took us to Nelson. We went to the beach and town centre but there was not much to see because many shops were closed.

I didn't understand why the shops were closed on Sunday...... It never happens in Hong Kong.

We had a party this afternoon. And we had a lot of food. I cooked wontons with soup and fried noodles with vegetables and roasted pork( I learnt how to make wontons here). Chester cooked fried wontons. Our korean friends(Sue, Junghua, O Suk, Yong & Jerry) cooked some korean food and Malaysian friends cooked cheese cake(Hilary&Alex). Yum Yum~~ Our friends were sooooooooo funny. I was very happy today.

After the party, I went to English class with Korean friends. In the first 2 hours, we studied Newspapre. After that, we studied Bible in English for 1 hour. Bible study was really difficult for me and I was not interested in it.

We arrived Christchurch at night, very tired, nearly 5 hours from Blenheim to Christchurch. We stayed at a BBH, called "Frauenreisehaus Womens" which was only for women. It was a very nice place, free laundry, free drinks, free bikes, free CDs & free videos, good~~

We went out by bike in the morning and found a Chinese store wich was open by a HK couple, we can communicate in Cantonese, hohoho... We bought a lot of Chinese food there. After that, we went back to BBH and had lunch. Then, we walked to the city centre where was very close, just around 10 mins.

Then, I bought a Gondola ticket and tram ticket, cost NZ$30. As Lam didn't want to go there, I went to take Gondola on my own. Gondola was a cable car which was like "360 degrees" in HK(Hopefully, it won't fall, scared...). And you could visit "Time Tunnel" which was a brief introduction about the history of New Zealand (The Gondola ticket was included the entrance fee of "Time Tunnel"). I saw the beautiful view of Christchurch there. I met some Japanese and they helped me take a picture :)

Some local people told me this souvenir shop is the cheapest one in Christchurch. You could compare the price if you would like to buy some souvenirs.

Rob took us to Kaikoura & Christchurch. We watched seals but we couldn't watch very close coz they will attach you if you walk close to them. The weather was not very good, a little bit rain... Afterwards, we had lunch together in a cafe and kept going to Christchurch.

Rob came and picked us to Blenheim in the afternoon. He brought us to see his house because we would stay there for 2 months. He arranged everything for us. Cool~~ It was just NZ$85 per person every week(should be NZ$100 per person but I and Lam Lam shared 1 room, so he offered us cheaper rental). His house was gorgeous, a nice kitchen, a nice living room, a nice laundry and a nice bedroom for us! And his sheepdog, Toby, was very cute and friendly, we always played with him. We lived with Rob, Vannesa(one of flatmate, Kiwi girl) & Siku (another flatmate, Taiwanese girl). They were all very nice & easy going people.

We visited the factory today. It is a very big and well organised company.

Started working this Thursday, 12 hours a day. Very busy and tired... Lam Lam & I packed the spinach, we had to work very fast and the boxes were very heavy...

As there was a hole in factory and they had to fix it, we didn't need to work from Friday to Sunday. Rob would like to visit his son in Ashburton and he asked us to go with him, so that he can take us to Kaikora & Christchurch. He's so kind.  (Wanna see photos of Kaikoura & Christchurch?? We arrived South Island~~~ There was soooooooooo beautiful, just like a dream... We stayed in a BBH called "Sequoia Lodge & Backpacker" for 1 night. The host was very nice and helpful. They provided us "free Chocolate Pudding" (yum yum...) & Spa in Winter(we didn't try the spa coz it was really cold there).

I received a call from Rob, the manager, he would like to pick us to Blenheim and talk about the details of work. That's great! He's sooooo kind~~

It was a nice day, sunshine and warm. In the morning, I walked around Picton. People of South Island were very polite. Everyone greeted me with smile. I felt so happy and peaceful here.

After 10 hours bus, we arrived Wellington. Here was sooooo cold. Then, we got the ferry(Interislander) to Picton at South Island. It took 5 hours from Wellington to Picton.

What a awful day for me today! I lost all my washing stuff. As I left the stuff in the bathroom, someone has taken them away. Besides, I booked a free 1 day trip called "Kiwi Experience" with my friends(I met some HK & Taiwan friends here) but the tour guide said we didn't have tickets, so he pushed me and said we can't join the tour. Afterwards, we asked the staff of the YHA, she told us that we don't need any tickets, they had never give tickets. It is so strange! I think it maybe because we are Asian. I am a bit angry of it. Fortunately, we can join another free day trip which is called "Stray Bus". The tour guide is nice and polite. I think I will never join "Kiwi Experience" again.

Ian, one of my Taiwan friends, he told us there are some free English courses in Auckland. As I had nothing to do here( I have  to wait for Lam Lam for 2 weeks), we went to have a lesson. It took around 2 hours, quite good. I can practise more my English skills.

Ian, Gilbert, Hedy & Gloria, all of them have left the YHA International. Some of them went back home, some of them went to resume their journey. I am a bit lonely here. Peter will go home soon because he just sold his car last night. Congratulations to him!

When I have nothing to do, I usually go to public library. It takes 10mins to walk there. The library provides free internet service. Cool~~ And I can read Japanese comics here. As all the comics are English version, I can practice my reading skill and know more vocab. Not bad~

My roommate from England, Sarah, is so kind. She left lots of food to me. And Peter went back to HK yesterday. He also left a box of food to me. I don't need to buy any food this week, hehe :)

The English class was finished this afternoon. The teachers brought a lot of food to the class and we played lots of games. We did have fun!

Serene, from Malaysia, is a Buddhist and she would like to visit the Buddhist Temple which is in North Island, so I went there with her.  There is hard to find and we spent nearly 2 hours to get there.  Fortunately, we can find that temple. After we were back to Auckland city, it was almost 6pm. As Serene was very glad that I went to the temple with her, she invited me to have dinner with her (roasted pork rice! I love it! Yummy). After that, she had to get her belongings to airport because she's going to travel Australia. I'd like to say thank you to Serene here and wish you all the best for your trip.

I am so happy that I just got a call to have interview on this Sat. And I will go to South Island with Lam Lam tonight. As it is very expensive to access internet there(around NZ$3-5 for 20 mins only), I can't update my blog frequently. If you have anything to tell me, please leave your message in my blog. Thanks! I am now in Singapore and waiting for the plane to New Zealand. You can use free internet service in the Singapore Airport for 15 mins at a time but you only can type English there.

I hope everything will be fine in this long journey. Aiya....... I have already known something that I forgot to bring -> Cutlery~~ How can I eat the instant noodles without fork? I am so careless...

最近好忙好忙呀~~ 好多工作突然一次過來, 又要埋數, 而且要hand over d工作俾新同事~~ 不過有佢係度好開心呀~~ 以前只有自己一個坐在一旁, 很孤獨呢~~

今日好多謝各位請我食lunch呀~~ 好開心呢~ 我地9個人一齊去咗Fat Angelo's食lunch, 叫咗勁多野食呀~~ 仲以為會係"是但"叫d set lunch, 但估唔到會叫哂a la cart, 食得咁貴呀, 我諗老細一定好後悔自己咁豪氣講咗句"我包底!"

另外, 新來的兩位女同事很好人, 而且很啱key呀~~  e間公司終於都多返d女仔啦, 回想以前, 就只有我一個女仔, 其他人全男班, 真的幾悶, 不過, e家唔同啦, 正所謂3個女人一個墟, 真係無錯呀~~ (今日真的好多謝你地份禮物, 估唔到有禮物收, hehe)

尋日終於考咗LCCI啦~ 唔知得唔得呢~ 佢出的題目真的是超爆冷~ 我tip咗6課好熱門的來溫習(limited co, partnership, accounting ratio, consignment, incomplete record, stock revaluation), 點知佢... 佢竟然只出了一題limited company(4題必答)~~ 唉~ 枉我4日4夜咁不停溫書...

不過, 唔知點解我好似每題都識識地喎~~ 尤其是那題suspense account, hehe...(自以為是) 都係果句, 唔知得唔得呢~

辛苦咗咁多日, 終於可以去玩下啦~~
